SHUTTER CURTAIN 

MARLEY ECOM curtain is constructed from pre-galvanised material, designed to provide an interlocking roller shutter curtain. Each panel section is 76mm deep with a convex face for rigidity. ROLLER SHUTTERS ROLLERSHUTTERS ROLLERSHUTTERS DOORS 

 

END LOCKS 

The curtain, when assembled is held in position with purposely designed pressed ,zinc plated, 3mm steel endlocks designed for durability. 

 

BOTTOM RAIL 

The bottom profile of THE MARLEY ECOM shutters is terminated with a purpose designed bottom rail to provide added rigidity and allows a rubber interlocking (EPDM) rubber weather seal to help prevent wind driven water and deabry. 

 

THE BARREL 

Manufactured from mild steel tube to BS4750 Grade 50c. Each door will be designed with our computer system to determine barrel diameter based on maximum deflection 1:400 to comply with industry standards. All barrels are fitted with precision-machined BDMS shafts and discs to BS970 EN33 and coated with high zinc protective paint 

 

 

MAIN SUPPORT BRACKETS 

The main support brackets for the barrel and motor unit are manufactured from mild steel plates of varying thickness to suit the door weight and incorporate the necessary fixing positions for securing back to the opening structure. 

 

VERTICAL SIDE GUIDES 

THE MARLEY ECOM uses formed guide channel from pre-galvanised material having a minimum thickness of 3mm. The guides are selected based upon size and location for windload analisis. Some large roller shutters or exposed locations may require one of our two windlock guide systems.  

 

OPERATION 

THE MARLEY ECOM RANGE OF ROLLER SHUTTERS includes manual and automated roller shutters depending on size and usage, from small push up shutters for small doorways through to large 3 phase aircraft hangers. All electric motor units are fitted with manual hand hoisting and lowering facility and safety brakes according to industry standards, TUV-tested, complying with all current European Safety Standards.
