MARLEYINSU100 INSULATED ROLLER SHUTTER
MARLEY100 Is our largest profile insulated roller shutter door, constructed using 100mm x 25mm twin skin deep ribbed 22swg galvanised steel interlocking laths to provide a hollow section to allow our cfc & hcfc thermal infill.
The curtain, When assembled is held in position with purposely designed injection moulded endlocks manufactured from hard wearing nylon-6.
The bottom panel of the MARLEY100 is terminated with a purpose designed high visability yellow plastic extrusion complete with interlocking EPDM rubber weather seal to minimise heatloss and water ingress.
The barrel is manufactured from mild steel tube to BS4750 Grade 50c. Each door will be designed with our computer system to determine barrel diameter based on maximum deflection 1:400 to comply with industry standards. All barrels are fitted with precision-machined BDMS shafts and discs to BS970 EN33 and coated with high zinc protective paint.
The main supporting brackets for the barrel and motor unit are manufactured from mild steel plates of varying size & thickness to suit the door weight and are dictated by our computer controlled design system. All brackets are coated in high zinc protective paint.
The guides used for MARLEY100 are cold rolled from 2.5mm pre galvanised mild steel. The profile of this section is designed for use with our wind anchor system locking the twin skin curtain into the guides to prevent damage from high winds on large doors. Both internal and external guide faces are fitted with full height twin PVC brush carrier finished in black, into which our twin siliconised polypropylene weather strips are inserted. These weather strips have multi purposes, to protect the galavnised finish from wear, to aid the shutter to run extremeley smoothley, prevent heat loss and increase the acoustic rating. The guides are supported by full height 100mm x 65mm galvanised fixing angles.
MARLEY100 are powered by a direct drive electric motor with manual over ride via chain hoist, our motors are complete with integral safety anti fall back system. Operating voltage of 400v 3-phase IP54 protection 60% duty cycle TUV-tested, complying with all current European Safety Standards. Opening speeds can vary but are approx 220mm per second as standard
